What is a Survival Pack?

Our world is a dangerous and unpredictable place and more recently we are seeing disasters of all types more frequently then in the past.  One way to help prepare you and your loved ones from these dangers we face everyday is to own a survival kit or pack.

What is a survival pack?  A survival kit or pack is comprised of disasters supplies that help prepare your workplace, home, vehicle or person for natural or man-mad disasters. Survival packs generally include emergency food, emergency water, emergency lighting, emergency first aid supplies, emergency sanitation and shelter supplies and other essential survival and emergency supplies needed to survive the initial stages of a precarious situation.

Most survival packs are standardized offering a general array of the essentials for various situations. However, some survival kits are more specialized. As in they are for specific disasters only. For example, you can find custom made kits constructed for hurricane, tornado, flood, earthquake, fire, terror attack, bird flu, and chemical or gas attack disasters only. These types of kits may be a bit on the higher priced side, but there can be no price set on our lives!
